Tomorrow we leave for Moab with the Averetts! Chris is going to ride his dual sport bike while I ride with them. We're going camping, hiking, and rafting! I'm SUPER excited! It will be so nice to get away! And Moab always brings such fond memories of blood, pain, and exhaustion. But not this time, we're taking it easy. I've never been there for anything besides mountain biking, so this will be fantastic!!!

Uh.... "fond" memories of blood, pain, and exhaustion? I am having a hard time placing the word "fond" in that sentence.
