Summer is FINALLY here!!!

Have I ever mentioned how much I love summer!  I do!  It's my favorite time of the year.  I just get giddy as everything turns green, flowers bloom, and it warms up outside.  Our summer was off to a great start!...

Long's Motorcycle & Fishing Trip

May 16-19th, 2013

Chris flew out to California for a four day to visit his dad.  They had a blast going deep sea fishing and caught these three salmon.  YUMMY!!!  If I remember correct, he brought home about 17 pounds of salmon.

It was a little chilly.  And don't tell him I told you, but Chris was a little cold and got sea sick. ;-)  But catching those fish sure made it worth it!

They also went on a beautiful motorcycle trip.  I was very jealous of the coastal portion.

Eleven Months

I'll be honest, I can't really think of anything super special to tell about at eleven months.  :-(  So here are some pictures I put on here a very long time ago.

As you might guess by looking at this little cutie, Sierra is a very good eater.

No, we're not potty training.  I'm not sure what Daddy was doing.

This little sweetheart is very cuddly and loves her blanket.

She stole this apple from my bag.  She has a thing for apples, full apples, not slices.

Date Day

Chris and I aren't able to go on dates much anymore, so it's always a big deal when we do. What did Chris choose?  Shooting.  It was actually more fun than I thought it would be.  And not to toot my own horn, but I wasn't too shabby!  ;-)

Preschool Field Day

Keira wrote her full name for the first time.

Keira's 3 year old preschool class.  Such cute kids from church!

I think this is the best Keira has colored so far.  She even chose all of the colors herself.

Preschool was a success!  Five other moms and myself took turns teaching once a week at our homes.  Keira really enjoyed it.  I actually enjoyed teaching, although it would have been nice to use a curriculum so I didn't have think/ research everything.
